Gram Equipment of America is looking for an ambitious, eager to learn individual who is interested in gaining a broad understanding of receivables, payables and how they relate to the financial footprint of the company. As a junior accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining, preparing, and reconciling accounts and other financial documents. If you are a recent graduate with an eye for detail, a head for math, and a teamfocused attitude, you could be an ideal match for this junior accountant position.
Tasks
Job/Equipment handling including communication with project managers.
Job/Equipment – Creating Sales Orders/invoices/credit memos.
Cash Management – including Cash forecasts.
Customer Relations/Account review.
Cash Collection.
Month End Close procedures.
Preparation of General Ledger Entries and Analysis.
Sales & Use Tax Calculation and reviews.
Other Finance Tasks as needed.
Required Education and Professional Experience
Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in accounting, business, finance, or a
related field.
Desirable experience:
Knowledge of Basic Accounting Principles
Familiarity with collections preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
